A story for breathing better
BREATHE with Namu is an illustrated story for kids ages 6 to 8 — and a good reminder for grown-ups — about something we already know how to do but rarely do with real attention.

"Namaste" — a Sanskrit word that means "I bow to you." That's how I introduce myself. I come from Nepal, a small country between India and China, known for Everest, the tallest mountain in the world.
The first thing I learned, back when I was very small at the ashram, wasn't reading or writing. It was breathing — because it's the first thing we do when we arrive in this world, and the one thing that stays with us always.
In this story I'll tell you what I know: how insects breathe, how elephant seals hold their breath, and why your breathing changes when something scares you, excites you, or feels hard. One breath at a time.

Namu comes from Nepal, near Everest — the tallest mountain in the world.
Did you know insects don't breathe with lungs, but with tracheae?
Breathing is also the foundation of singing and music.
Even soccer champions breathe differently to play better.
The complete story, hand-illustrated in watercolor, with all of Namu's stories and facts from start to finish.
I wrote it with something calm in mind — for kids, and for whoever's reading it to them too.

Each page pairs a story with a real fact, so it works as well at home as it does for starting a classroom conversation — about emotions, about natural science, or simply for taking a pause.
